Cancellation Policy
Deposit & Payment Terms 1. Deposit Requirement A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total estimated event cost is required to secure the Event Planner’s services and initiate event planning. This deposit will be credited towards the total event cost. Upon receipt of the deposit, the Event Planner will begin coordinating and securing services (including, but not limited to, venues, vendors, and logistics) as outlined in the event proposal. 2. Non-Refundable Deposit The deposit is non-refundable and is considered earned once paid. If the Client decides to cancel the event or terminate the agreement for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited. This deposit ensures that the Event Planner's time, resources, and efforts are compensated, as bookings are held specifically for the Client’s event date. 3. Balance Due The remaining balance of the event’s total cost will be due no later than 10 days before the event date. If the balance is not paid in full by the due date, the Event Planner reserves the right to cancel services, and the event will be considered canceled by the Client, with the deposit being forfeited. 4. Payment Methods The Client agrees to make payment via [Accepted Methods: Bank Transfer, Credit Card, PayPal, etc.]. Invoices will be issued to the Client for all payments. 5. Cancellation Policy If the Client cancels the event for any reason after the deposit has been paid, the following will apply: * Cancellations within 20 days of the event: The Client will be liable for 25% of the total event cost, in addition to the non-refundable deposit. * Cancellations more than 10 days in advance: The Client will be liable for 75% of the total event cost, but the non-refundable deposit is still retained. 6. Final Confirmation Upon receipt of the deposit, the Event Planner will reserve the date and initiate the planning process. All event details, vendors, and services will be confirmed with the Client prior to the event.
